Blairquhan Estate near Maybole offers fishing on two lochs, one hill loch, Loch Spallander can be fished by arrangement with the estate ghillie and the Approach Loch which is stocked with brown trout and rainbows to 4lb, average annual catch about 600. Fairlie Moor

high in the moors fishing here can be challenging. Stocked twice weekly, rainbows, steelhead and brown trout up to 20lbs with a free boat, permits on site, 07970 153712.
