River Taff once one of the most polluted rivers in the UK the Taff has risen like a Pheonix from the flames.Today it holds good stocks of brown trout offering excellent fly fishing for trout in the half to three quarters of a pound mark with fish up to 3/4lbs taken in recent years. River Usk The club has fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on three beats on the river Usk. Most salmon are taken on the spinner with flying C's being top dog:

Mardy Beat 1.5 miles left bank off the A40 between Abergevenny and Crickhowell.

Ysbytty Beat adjacent to the Sun Valley poultry Farm, Abergevenny, 3 beats totalling 1 mile.

Kemeys of the B4589 between Abergevenny and Usk, 1070 yards left bank for salmon and sea trout made up of 3 beats averaging 20 salon a year.

River Tarrel wild fishing for wild trout on this tributary of the Usk.

The club also have fishing for trout, pike and coarse fish on a number of reservoirs including; Upper Neaudd Reservoir, Talybont Reservoir, Cyfartfa Lake, Top Pond and Middle Pond
