Hayrick Lakes consists of 2 lakes totalling 3 acres stocked with rainbow and brown trout, call 01443 829262.

 

Pen y Fan Pond in the Pen y Fan Countryside park is run by the Islwyn and District Anglers who stock with rainbow and brown trout. Permits from Greens Fishing Tackle in Ponllanfraith, call 01495 221881.

 

River Ebbw an other Islwyn and District water offering fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout, permits from Greens Tackle, call 01495 221881.

 

River Rhymney, 2 clubs have fishing rights on the river: Caerphilly and District Angling Society have fishing for salmon, sea trout brown trout and grayling near Bedwas and Llanbraclach AA have 3 miles of fishing with very good wild brown trout. Tickets for both from Tony's tackle in Caerphilly, call 0290 885409.

 

River Sirhowy Islwym Dist Anglers have salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing on the river, Permits from Greens call 01495 228810.
