Quarter Fishery between Hamilton and Strathhaven on the A 723 is a single pond offering bank fishing, stocked daily with rainbows from 1.5lbs. Fly only, Fritzs, Yellow Dancer and buzzers are recommended. Good value for money venue costing £17 for 6 fish, 3 and 6 month as well as annual tickets are also available. Tinto Trout Fishery near Thankerton, Biggar. 2, 5 acre lochs, Lochs Lyoch and Cleugh, holding wild brown trout to 10lbs, stocked with rainbows and Blues.
