The A to Z of Where to Fish for Salmon and Sea Trout in the Rivers of Scotland
Back to the A to Z of Salmon Rivers
The Clyde System
Tributaries: Avon | Gryfe | Kelvin | Leven | White Cart
Reports from last year indicate that the Clyde is well on the road to recovery with very good returns being reported including significant numbers of sea trout on the river Avon. Poaching, which has been a problem in the past, has declined due to the efforts of the clubs running the beats. In terms of cost the Clyde represents some of the best value for money fishing in the country.
