Lough Lee near Drumquin in the wilds of the mountains of Tyrone. A limestone lough with gin clear water producing an abundance of wild brown trout of about 1 lb with fish to 2 and trout taken regularly. Fishing is bank only, fly, spinner or bait. You will need an FCBNI license for the Foyle system to fish here along with your DCAL permit.

 

Omagh Fishing Club. Omagh Fishing club have a total of 29 miles of fishing on the rivers Drumragh, Canowen, Strule and Owenkillew. Trout average about 8ozs with the best fishing being on the Strule. These medium sized rivers are best known for their salmon and sea trout. There are some early fish however they are at their best from June with the best of the sea trout fishing on the Owenkillew in June and July. There is no limit on day tickets during the week but only 6 available at the weekend, tickets cost £12 per day and can be booked from David Campbell, call 02881 661543 and CA Anderson call 02882 624311.
