Built in the 1970's this 3100 acres reservoir offers a complete day out for all of the family whether fishing or taking part in the multitude of activities available on and off the water including places to eat, pubs, walking, bird watching, sailing, wind surfing. But enough of that Rutland hold trout, lots of them and they grow big up to 15lbs. There are also pike of monstrous proportions. There are 65 boat with outboards and 25 miles of bank to roam (excluding reserve area). Call 01780 686441 for permits and further information. Permitsfor all Anglian Water trout fishing: £18 for 8 fish, motor boats £25 Rutland and Grafham and £21 for Pitsford, there is a wheelyboat available.
