Arden Fisheries, near Snitterfield, Stratford on Avon is a 24 acre fishery over 5 pools now open to day ticket anglers. The Bowl holds 20lb+ carp and big perch, there are also good bream and roach. Fox's Pool is a shallow water holding mostly carp. The Orchard pool, a deeper water, has some 20lb plus carp, bream, roach and tench. Archers hold lots of silver fish, small carp plus roach and a few tench. Oak Pool holds carp to double figures and tench. A bit of variety here. Call 01789 731244
Holt Hall Fisheries, Coleshill, consists of 3 pools Top Middle and Specimen. Created centuries ago these pools have been taken over recently and redeveloped to a high standard. Holding some big carp, rudd, roach and bream and a big sturgeon! The specimen pool has 30lb plus carp, there is even a 40lb specimen lurking in the depths of the specimen lake. Call 07957 975087
Stockton Reservoir is a 7 acre British Waterways water near Rugby. Stocked with carp, chub, roach, tench, perch and rudd. With 66 timber fishing platforms there's plenty of choice here. Markins Fisheries, Bramcote, with 18 lakes and 600 swims to fish you could spend a lot of time here. Under new ownership the fishery has undergone significant improvements. There is a wide range of fish in this fishery including big carp and barbel. Call 01455 220877
West Sussex
Mill Farm Fishery, Pulborough, consists of 3 lakes, the recently opened Hammer Pond plus the Specimen Pond and Mill Pond. A rather attractive fishery as the owner is an active conservationist and works to maintain a quality environment at the fishery. Good stocks of fish: Mill Pond holds carp to the mid twenties, silver fish to record size, roach, tench and perch close to record weight; the Specimen lake has common, mirror and ghost carp to over 30lbs; Hammer Pond holds roach, tench, silver fish, carp and bream. Sumners Pond near Horseham, West Sussex, consists of 3 spring fed lakes with camping and a visitor centre. Big Pond has 30lb plus carp while Small Pond has some high 20s carp plus roach, tench, rudd, perch and chub. There is also a match lake. Day tickets can be bought at the chalet or from the bailiff. Ashton Keynes Angling Club offer fishing to day ticket anglers on two of their lakes; Neighbridge Lake and Large Lake. Neighbridge has 2 swims designed for ease of access by people with a disability. There are 40lb plus carp, big tench, roach, bream and perch and some 20lb plus pike. Large lake holds some 30lb plus carp, big pike, roach and perch. You must buy you ticket in advance of commencing fishing. Blacklands Lake, Calne, offer days tickets on two lakes, Heron Lake, 1 acre, 4 to 12 feet deep; and Stan's Lake, half and acre, 4 to 9 feet deep. Both lakes hold mirror carp to 35lbs plus tench, bream, perch, roach and crucians. Call 01249 810943

Alcott Farm Fishery near Alvechurch, consists of 2 pools, Match Pool and Small Pool. Match pool holds common and mirror carp to double figures plus, crucians, tench, bream and roach. Anchor Meadows, near Evesham, is a private fishery on the Warwickshire Avon with one heck of a reputation for stonking good fish, does 40lb plus carp interest you? Read on. 40 pegs along the stretch of river covering fast water with top notch chub and slower, deeper water with very big carp, 30lb plus pike, big barbel, tench bream and roach. Hawbridge Fishery and Angling Club, Hawford, offer fishing on 4 lakes and a stretch of the river Salwarpe. The pools are The Bridge, Reddings, Penlake and Broomhill. The Bridge holds ghost, common, mirror and leather carp plus roach, rudd, bream and perch. Reddings has 20lb plus carp and rudd. Penlake holds carp, silver fish, roach, perch, rudd and chub. Broomhill holds carp, chub, perch and bream. The river at 20 metres wide is challenging but holds some good carp, barbel, roach, dace and chub. Call 01905 455792
Furnace Mill Fishery, near Kidderminster, consists of 4 pools. Furnace Pool is a 1.5 acre lake formerly the mill pond for an old cannon ball factory. The lake has a reputation for being chockers with fish including some good carp. There are also roach up to 3lbs, tench, mirror and ghost carp. Then there is Mucky Meadow with good roach, tench, bream and carp. Willow Pool, with a bit of everything; roach, rudd, orfe, carp, bream, tench, barbel, chub and ide and finally Mill Pool. Holt Fleet Fishery, Worcester, offer fishing on a 2 lakes, the 2 acre Old Pool and the latest addition, the New Pool, with with 40 and 30 pegs respectively, plus a stretch of the river Severn.
