Peebles-shire Trout Fly Angling Association

A limited number of tickets are available each day for visitors to their fishing on 23 miles of the Tweed and 5 miles of the Lyne Water. There are trout and grayling, catch and release for wild brownies but there are dye marked stocked fish that can be taken, Contact the Treasurer / Secretary, Peter Reith, Minchgate, Traquir, call 08701317128.

Perth & District Angling Association

Permits for trout fishing on several stretches of the river from Logierait just above the junction of the Tay and Tummel down to Scone, permits from Mallochs in Perth, Ballinluig Inn, Kettles in Dunkeld.

Pitlochry Angling Club

2 beats on the Tummel (one on the Garry), Portnacraig beat from 100 yards below the dam at Faskally to Aldour Road Bridge, south bank only. 3 rods available daily, advance booking are recommended. Prices vary with the time of year, 15th Jan to 24th March, £15; 26th March to 14th April,£25; 16th April to 19th May £35; 21st May to 9th June, £25; 11th June to 15th Oct, £15. Portree Angling Association

Portree AA have a selection of rivers and lochs in west central Skye offering wild brown trout fish and fishing for salmon and sea trout on a number of spate rivers. Contact Alastair Nicholson on 01478 612482, permits from Jansport, Wentworth St, Portree, call 01478 612559.
