Kintyre Fish Protection Association
KFPA have fishing for salmon and brown trout on a number of rivers and loch on the Argyll Peninsula including; Auchlochy Loch, Crosshill Loch, Lussa Loch, Tangy Loch, Loch Raun and the rivers Lussa, Carradale, Glenbarr and Conieglen. Permits from A.P. MacGrory in Campbelltown.

The has fishing on several loch including, Ascog Loch holding brown trout, The Dam Lochs with rainbows and browns, Powder Dam rainbows and browns and Tighnabruiach Reservoir. Contact Allen Richardson, Allt Beag, Tighnabruaich, Argyll PA21 2BE.
The Kyle of Sutherland is at the western end of the Dornoch Firth formed by the confluence of 4 great salmon rivers, Shin, Cassley, Oykel and Carron. 12 miles of fishing with a particularly nice stretch of river fly water at Bonar Bridge just on the tidal reaches of the Firth. Permits for the Kyle of Sutherland Angling Association water from the newsagent, Bonar Bridge, 01863766316 or from R MacLeod (hardware), Tain call 01862 892171, under £20 a day for fishing on water where over 400 salmon and 250 sea trout are taken each year.
