Devon Angling Association

15 miles on the river Devon from below Castlehill Reservoir through Dunning Glen down to the Tullibody / Menstrie Bridge plus bank fishing on Glenquey Reservoir.

Trout fishing is available on all of the water but salmon and sea trout fishing is restricted to water below the impassable falls at Rumbling Bridge, from the Cauldron Linn to the Tullibody Bridge.

There are 10 day tickets for salmon, sea trout and brown trout available daily from the Paper Shop in Dollar and Stenhouse's in Tillichoutry.

Dingwall and District Angling Club

Fishing on the lower 2 miles of the Connon, best from July, some good sea trout. Permits Sports Model Shop, Tulloch St, Dingwall.

Dounreay Fly Angling Club

Loch Watten, approximately 3.5 miles long and up to half a mile wide this shallow (max 12 feet) marl loch offers boat fishing, strictly fly only, for brown trout. Watten is renowned as one of the best trout lochs in the country with fish of 2 to 3 lbs taken regularly. Permits from Dounreay Fly Angling Club, call 01847 892998 or from Hugo Ross Tackle in Wick call 01955 851270.

Dunkeld and Birnam AA

Fishing on the Tay and Braan including Loch Feuchie and the river Quaich. The are 11 beats on the Tay including Glendelvine where Miss Ballantyne caught her record salmon (nice trout water). Contact Martin Brooks on 01350 728864.
