Banff and MacDuff Angling Association

 

 0.75 miles of double bank fishing in the tidal reaches of the river Deveron from above the bridge at Banff. Check the tide times for the river fishes best three hours before and three hours after high tide. Permits from the Banff tackle Shop, 14, Low St, Banff, call 01261 818404 or from Insport, Carmelite St, Banff call, 01261 818348. Cost £4 per day or £10 per week

Berwick on Tweed and District Angling Association

 

Beats the Whiteadder on the lower river fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout, at £15 per day. Only certain of the beats have salmon fishing and it is best to book in advance. Membership of the club is very reasonably, 4 visits and you are quids in, contact The Secretary, Berwick on Tweed AC, 129, Etal Rd, Tweedmouth, Berwick on Tweed.

 

Bettyhill Angling Club

 

River Naver at the estuary for a mile and a quarter stretch for three rods daily, two fish limit, permits £20 per day for fishing from The Store, call 01641 521207.

 

Bridge of Weir AC

 

Fishing on the upper river Gryfe, some excellent trout water, contact Mr Inglis, Hunthill, Bowfield Rd, Howwood, PA9 1BS. 01505 703808. email george@river-fishing.org.uk

 

Brora Angling Association

 

A limited number of permits are allowed on the Association water from the harbour to half a mile upstream, cost £10 per day. March, May and September are the best months for salmon,  May, July and August are the best months sea trout. Low water conditions suit this beat best. Call 01408 621373 for more information.
